How many licenses you need

SimpleSYN Standard/Business

For each computer on which you want to install SimpleSYN, a separate license is required. This means that a license is needed for the server PC as well as for all client PCs.

Examples:

• Synchronization between a desktop PC (server) and a laptop (client) → 2 licenses required
• Synchronization of three devices (1 server + 2 clients) → 3 licenses required, and so on

If you use SimpleSYN on a terminal server with multiple users, the following applies:

• Each user requires a separate license

SimpleSYN Mobile

With a single license, you can:

• Activate SimpleSYN Mobile on one Windows PC
• Synchronize up to 5 mobile devices (smartphones or tablets)

If you would like to use SimpleSYN Mobile on multiple Windows PCs, additional licenses are required.

Information about the license model

SimpleSYN Standard/Business

• One-time payment – no monthly or annual costs
• The license is valid for the purchased major version (e.g., version 6.0)
• Free updates within the same major version (e.g., version 6.0 → 6.0.1) are included
• Upgrading to a new major version (e.g., version 6.x → version 7) is subject to a fee, but of course optional

SimpleSYN Mobile

Two licensing models are available for SimpleSYN Mobile: one-time payment or subscription.

One-time-payment:

• Pay once, use permanently – no ongoing costs
• Valid for the purchased major version (e.g., version 3.0)
• Free updates within the same major version (e.g., version 3.0 → version 3.0.1) are included
• Upgrading to a new major version (e.g., version 3.x → version 4) is subject to a fee, but of course optional

Subscription:

• Maximum flexibility with no extra costs for updates

• Includes:

  • All minor updates within the major version
  • All upgrades to new major versions

• Ideal if you always want to use the latest version

• Your license details via email
• Your invoice in PDF format
