SimpleSYN and Peer-to-Peer-Network

SimpleSYN uses the Microsoft® Peer Name Resolution-Protocol (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb726971(en-us).aspx) to find the SimpleSYN server over your local network or the Internet. The Peer Name Resolution-Protocol uses IPv6 for communication.

SimpleSYN checks to see if the Windows Firewall allows the Peer Name Resolution-Protocol. If the Peer Name Resolution-Protocol is blocked you will receive the following message:

For SimpleSYN to work properly, you will need to allow the Peer Name Resolution Protocol in your Windows Firewall.

Please check your Windows Firewall settings. You can find the firewall settings for the Peer Name Resolution Protocol here.
