Current information when SimpleSYN can no longer be started after an Office 365 update
Update April 30th, 2020: Microsoft has fixed the Office problem with version 2004 (build 12730.20236).

Recent updates to Office 365 (e.g. version 16.0.2003.12624.20520 and also some insider builds) have a bug, that causes SimpleSYN and other programs (e.g. MFCMapi), that access Outlook data, to crash.
The issue is known to Microsoft and will be fixed.
To work around this problem in the meantime, we have built a fix. Follow the instructions below:
- Download the file Office365Fix_12624.20520.zip from our website:
https://www.simplesyn.net/Media/Default/Downloads/Office365Fix_12624.20520.zip - Save the file "Office365Fix_12624.20520.zip" to the hard drive, e.g. on the desktop.
- Unzip the file "Office365Fix_12624.20520.zip".
- Included is the file "Office365Fix.cmd". Double-click this file. After that, a dialog box will appear, which will be automatically terminated again.
After that, the fix is activated and SimpleSYN should start again. This fix will add two Office file paths to the current users environment variables to work around the problem.
