Quick-Start
Step 1 - Download and Installation
Start the installation of SimpleSYN with a double click on the downloaded setup file "SimpleSYN_Business.exe".
Confirm the End-User License Agreement and click on "Install":
Confirm the Windows security alert:
After the installation is complete, click on the button "Launch".
Note: SimpleSYN has to be installed on all computers to be synchronised with each other.
Step 2 - Setup SimpleSYN server
Click on the welcome page of the Configuration Wizard on "Next", to proceed with the setup of SimpleSYN.
If you have more than one Outlook®-Profile, you first have to choose the Outlook®-Profile you wish to synchronize.
Select "This is the SimpleSYN server" to configure the computer as SimpleSYN server. Enter a password to protect your SimpleSYN server. Select the checkbox “Synchronize via the Internet” if synchronization with this SimpleSYN server via the Internet is planned.
Click on "Finish" to complete the setup of the SimpleSYN servers.
Step 3 - Setup SimpleSYN client
Click on the welcome page of the Configuration Wizard on "Next", to proceed with the setup of SimpleSYN.
If you have more than one Outlook®-Profile, you first have to choose the Outlook®-Profile you wish to synchronize.
Select "This is a SimpleSYN client". If your SimpleSYN server is not available in the drop-down list, you will need either an invitation file or a unique ID to connect to the SimpleSYN server. Click on “Connect to a different server”. Fill in the field “Password” with the password of the SimpleSYN server and select the checkbox “Synchronize via the Internet” if a connection to a SimpleSYN server via the Internet exists.
Choose the folders you want to synchronize automatically.
Click on "Finish" to complete the setup of the SimpleSYN client. The synchronization will then start automatically.
